He is a full professor at the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb and in Sciology from the Alpen-Adria Universität, Klagenfurt, Austria. He is the author of over 100 scientific papers published in scientific journals, proceedings of scientific conferences and scientific monographs. He is a co-author of over 10 books, editor of several scientific monographs. His areas of scientific interest are: marketing strategy, marketing of non-profit organizations, marketing and social change, and improvement of educational institutions and educational processes. He is a member of the editorial board of several scientific journals and a permanent or occasional reviewer. He has been the leader and / or member of several scientific research projects. He has mentored numerous undergraduate and graduate theses at various levels of study. He was the head of the Department of Marketing, Vice Dean for Research and Administration and Vice Dean for International Cooperation and Accreditation at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb, Chairman of the Institute of Public Finance, Zagreb and President of the Council of Social Sciences and Humanities of the University of Zagreb.
