Dr. Madison Ngafeeson is an associate professor of information systems and business, and former Director of the MBA Program at the NMU College of Business. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with emphasis in Computer Information Systems from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas; a Master’s degree in Management Information Systems from Southern University at New Orleans, in New Orleans, Louisiana; and a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Buea, in Buea, Cameroon. He just recently earned a certificate in business analytics from the Harvard Business School, Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Ngafeeson is a passionate teacher and researcher. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of the adoption, implementation, diffusion and use of information systems in organizations. His major research focus areas are the management of information systems, IT strategy, informatics, and analytics. Ngafeeson uses social psychological theories to understand human interaction with technology. His research appears in reputable national and international conferences and journals as: the Decision Sciences Institute, the European Conference on Information Systems, the International Journal of Electronic Healthcare, Journal of Information Technology Education Research, Journal of Information Technology Teaching Cases, the International Journal of Electronic Government Research, and the International Journal of Electronic Finance.
Dr. Ngafeeson served in the healthcare industry as a medical laboratory technician and a dental assistant internationally before joining the academe. He is the founder and president of two leadership organizations that serve leaders through training, mentorship and coaching. He is also a certified executive coach and trainer with the John Maxwell Team. Ngafeeson feels honored to bring these rich and diverse experiences to classrooms and audiences around the world.
