The idea of the\ncourse is to teach students how to use Excel and how to apply ideas\nlearned in other finance courses. The course gives students the\nchance to perfect the skills required to create financial models. The\ncourse mostly concentrates on valuation\, capital budgeting\, cost of\ncapital\, and portfolio models. The course also gives a rudimentary\nintroduction to big data and the quantitative research\nmethodologies that go with it.
