SSBM Geneva is excited to share that we recently participated in a cutting-edge event titled “Driving the Future: AI in the Mobility Ecosystem”, hosted by the Global AI Association. This unique evening provided a fascinating look into the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the world of mobility, highlighting how AI is shaping the future of transportation.
The event was held alongside the UNECE World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, bringing together top experts, innovators, and thought leaders from various industries. It was an incredible opportunity to explore the latest AI innovations and research that are poised to revolutionize the mobility ecosystem, including advancements in vehicle technology, smart cities, and sustainable transportation solutions.
As we continue to witness rapid technological advancements, AI has become a driving force in reshaping how we think about and approach mobility. From autonomous vehicles to smart infrastructure, AI is enhancing both the vehicles themselves and the broader systems that support them. The potential for AI to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in transportation is immense, and this event provided a platform to showcase these exciting developments.
A highlight of the event was the inspiring speech delivered by Dr. med. Mia Simcox, the Dean of SSBM Geneva. Dr. Simcox shared her thoughts on the role of education in shaping the future of mobility:
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each person present.
It has been a powerful reminder that the future of mobility will not be shaped by technology alone, but by collaboration across disciplines, responsible innovation, and a shared commitment to building systems that serve people, not just machines.
We’ve heard from researchers, entrepreneurs, and policy leaders who are pushing boundaries and asking the right questions about ethics, sustainability, accessibility, and trust.
As an Academic Dean, I’m especially proud to see how education plays a role in this journey. Our responsibility is not just to teach skills, but to shape mindsets that can navigate complexity and lead with integrity.
Let’s carry this energy forward. Let’s keep connecting, questioning, and creating—because the road to the future is one we drive together.
Her words resonated deeply with the attendees, highlighting the importance of collaboration, responsible innovation, and ethical leadership as we move forward in shaping the future of AI-powered mobility.
At SSBM Geneva, we are proud to be part of this transformative conversation. Our commitment to fostering innovation, education, and leadership remains strong, and we will continue to prepare our students to be the leaders of tomorrow in the ever-evolving world of technology and mobility.
A special thank you to the Global AI Association for organizing such a remarkable event and to all the participants who contributed to the inspiring discussions. Together, we are driving the future of mobility with AI, creating smarter, safer, and more sustainable transportation solutions for the world.
Let’s keep connecting, questioning, and creating, as we continue to drive the road to the future—together.
