SSBM Geneva participated in the ACBSP Global Business Programs Region 8 Conference 2025, held in Prague and Mladá Boleslav under the theme “Bridging the Gap: Meeting the Needs of Today’s Businesses.” Representing our institution, Dr. Olesya Meskina contributed to the international dialogue by presenting our distinctive applied-learning philosophy. This approach integrates real companies, real challenges, and real outcomes into every stage of the learning experience.
Dr. Meskina delivered a presentation titled “Real Business, Real Learning: Applied Learning in Action,” highlighting SSBM Geneva’s hybrid company project framework through a recent collaboration with beyerdynamic: Diverse by Culture, United by Sound.
Our Hybrid Company Project Framework brings together students, enterprises, and academia in a shared space of real-world learning. Students worked directly with companies, tackling authentic challenges and producing tangible outcomes.
At SSBM Geneva, applied learning is not an add-on; it is the core of our educational design. Our model brings together students, enterprise partners, and academia in a shared, real-world learning ecosystem built on:
Beyond the academic exchange, the conference included visits to Škoda Auto University, the Škoda Museum, and the Škoda Auto factory, where participants observed the production process firsthand and engaged with industry leaders. Witnessing innovation, precision, and automotive heritage up close illustrated why bridging academia with business is not only valuable—it is essential for shaping future-ready professionals.
A special thank you to ACBSP Global Business Programs, Škoda Auto University, and to Denver Grigg, Pavel Štrach, Alfred H. Miller, Lucie Depoo, and all contributors for creating an inspiring, well-curated, and intellectually stimulating conference.
Our appreciation also goes to Andreas Rapp for providing brand materials.
SSBM Geneva remains committed to advancing impactful and globally relevant business education—where students engage directly with the world they are preparing to shape.
