DBA research publication

What inspired you to pursue this particular research topic for your doctoral dissertation?

I chose this topic because I believe scientific research has the greatest value when it has practical application. As a VR filmmaker, I wanted my DBA work to be useful not only for academia but also for VR practitioners and the business world.

How has your journey with SSBM Geneva shaped your identity as both a researcher and mentor, and what makes the SSBM DBA experience unique in supporting doctoral research and publication?

My journey at SSBM Geneva has been shaped above all by its people, inspiring experiences, and extraordinary community. Seminars, webinars, and visits to places such as CERN, the Red Cross, and the UN, where I had the opportunity to meet people who are changing the world, expanded my perspective as both a researcher and a mentor. Special thanks to Dean Mia, Iva, Ivana, Olesya, and many others whose passion, dedication, and positive energy make SSBM such a truly special place.

How do you hope your research will contribute to the academic community or real-world applications?

My project brings value by connecting academic research with practice. In today’s fast-changing world, it is especially important that research inspires others and creates new opportunities for collaboration.

What advice would you give to SSBM doctoral students aiming to publish their research?

My advice is to build your research on your own experience and find a niche where you can develop true expertise. Above all, keep learning and stay humble. This makes your work more authentic, valuable, and relevant both to academia and to practice.

This publication is more than just a milestone for Dr. Andziak, it is a testament to her dedication, curiosity, and hard work. At the same time, it brings pride and visibility to SSBM Geneva, highlighting the School’s growing international recognition and academic prestige. Achievements like this reflect SSBM’s ongoing mission to support research that is innovative and meaningful, practical, and capable of making a real impact in the world.
