As the SSBM Geneva Immersion Week came to its conclusion, participants explored the powerful intersection of finance, strategy, creativity, and global collaboration, from mastering financial management and multinational taxation to engaging in hands-on leadership and cultural experiences. Days four and five offered the perfect culmination to an inspiring week of learning, connection, and discovery.
Numbers tell stories, and today, our participants learned how to read them. The fourth day of the SSBM Geneva Immersion Week focused on the vital role of financial management and global taxation in shaping strategic business decisions.
The day began with an insightful session on Financial Management, followed by a hands-on Finance Workshop led by Dr. Victor Yerris, where participants gained practical tools to interpret financial data and apply them to real-world business challenges.
In the afternoon, Giacomo Tassan-Din guided students through the complexities of Multinational Business Taxation, linking theory with examples from international corporate practices. From financial strategy to cross-border taxation, today was all about understanding how global business truly operates — behind the numbers.
The day concluded with a relaxing visit to the charming town of Nyon alongside Dr. Mia Simcox, Dean of SSBM Geneva, followed by a convivial dinner back in Geneva.
What an inspiring finale to our SSBM Geneva Immersion Week! Our final day began with a dynamic and interactive workshop, “Likayla = Together,” led by Simon Bradley. This engaging session focused on collaboration, communication, and the human side of leadership — a creative reminder that success in business starts with connection.
In the afternoon, participants visited UNESCO, guided by Dr. Olesya Meskina and Dr. Mia Simcox, to reflect on education, culture, and sustainability as essential drivers of global progress.
A heartfelt thank you to Francesca Lualdi and Sitong Pei for graciously hosting our group and sharing their insights.
The week concluded with our Certificate Ceremony, celebrating new knowledge, global friendships, and the spirit of international collaboration that defines SSBM Geneva.
Congratulations to all participants for your curiosity, professionalism, and enthusiasm — you truly embodied the spirit of global learning and innovation that SSBM Geneva stands for.
