From Childhood Dreams to Career Goals: How SSBM Geneva Students Are Redefining Success

SSBM Geneva has a simple question for students about their career goals. When we’re children, our dream jobs are often shaped by imagination, curiosity, and the world around us. We dream of becoming astronauts, athletes, or superheroes. As we grow up, we learn and experience life. Shaped by new interests, values, and opportunities, those dreams begin to evolve to career goals.

At the Swiss School of Business and Management (SSBM Geneva), we asked our students to reflect on a simple but powerful question:

“What was your dream job as a child, and what is your dream job now?”

The answers were as diverse and inspiring as the student body itself. Some career goals were shaped and influenced by childhood dreams, some have evolved even beyond and into completely different areas, but regardless of a small or big change of paths, SSBM Geneva is here to support each of them until fulfilment.
