What inspired you to pursue the Executive Dual DBA in International Business at the Swiss School of Business and Management Geneva?
My main motivation stems from a deep understanding of the idea of lifelong learning. It’s never too late to begin. I embarked on my MBA journey when I was fifty, and I found the experience, the process, and the research to be immensely fulfilling. Learning is not a chore; it’s a privilege.
Can you share more about your research paper on “Artificial Intelligence’s Impact on Tax Administrations and Revenue Collection”? What motivated you to explore this topic?
My paper draws from the MBA dissertation I successfully defended at the University of Cumbria. While artificial intelligence is often perceived as a magic wand, my goal is to clarify and analyze both the potential benefits and the risks associated with its implementation in revenue administrations.
What are you most excited about when presenting your paper at the 8th International Research Conference in Mumbai?
Conducting research is enjoyable in itself, but the real value lies in sharing the findings. The conference in Mumbai focused on harnessing technology for the betterment of society, making my research topic an ideal match for the event.
How has this program influenced your approach to solving challenges in international taxation and technology?
I have collaborated with various revenue administrations for over two decades. Given the ongoing pressure these administrations face to optimize processes, cut operating costs, and boost compliance to enhance tax revenues, leveraging the capabilities of AI can provide essential support. My research enables me to develop recommendations on the most effective strategies for integrating AI into their operations.
In what ways has the program expanded your professional network or opened new opportunities for collaboration?
Following the presentation of my paper, I successfully expanded my LinkedIn network by connecting with several valuable contacts who share an interest in my research area.
