Dr. Victor Yerris is a distinguished Professor of Banking, Strategic Financial Management, Corporate Finance and Accounting. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with a specialization in Finance and Banking from the University of Geneva and Swiss Business School, as well as a Master of Arts in Banking and Finance from the University of Zurich.
Dr. Yerris is an active member of numerous academic and professional organizations, including the Research Review Panel, Swiss Accreditation Team for Swiss Private Business Schools, Swiss Financial Analysts Association, Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) Institute, Chartered Alternative Investments Analysts (CAIA), and the International Commodities and Derivatives Association (ICDA).
As an award-winning educator and mentor, he has supervised numerous DBA, PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s theses, fostering academic excellence and research innovation. In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Yerris has extensive experience in investment banking, wealth management, and corporate finance consultancy, having worked with leading institutions such as Citibank, UBS, and Ernst & Young. He is also a sought-after speaker at international investment forums and summits.
Dr. Yerris has authored several acclaimed publications, including Spiritual Interventions: Cancer Sick Investors (Wiley, 2024), The BECHL Model: Short-term Stock Price Prediction Tool, and Impact Investing in Sustainable Real Estate/Private Equity Sector. His current research focuses on Corporate Strategy, Behavioral Finance, Risk Management, and Derivatives, often utilizing large-scale field experiments to provide evidence for corporate and public policy decisions.
Dr. Yerris is currently engaged in groundbreaking projects that explore international asset prices, exchange rates, and the global implications of risk-return trade-offs, as well as the links between investor information, asset prices, and fiscal policy risks.
