We are proud to announce that SSBM’s Professor Dr. Dario Silić, on behalf of Bina Istra, received the prestigious “Project of Exceptional Importance to the Republic of Croatia” award at the 2025 Balance of Achievements (Bilanca Uspjeha) Awards.
This award is a recognition of the Bina-Istra Group’s long-standing contribution to Croatia’s national economic development, the strengthening of transportation connectivity both within the country and across its borders, and the advancement of infrastructure modernization projects that continue to shape the nation’s growth and future competitiveness. The Second Tube of the Učka Tunnel is a €200 million infrastructure project as well as a crucial project that enhances transportation efficiency and safety in Croatia.
The committee in charge of selecting the award winners was chaired by Professor Saša Drezgić, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rijeka, ensuring that the process was guided by academic integrity, impartiality, and professionalism.
