The Fourth Humanitarian Builders’ Gala Evening, organized by the Croatian Centre for Earthquake Engineering (HCPI), took place in Zagreb, bringing together over 300 participants and 80 leading companies from the construction sector. The event aimed to raise funds for the reconstruction and improvement of living and working conditions at the Sveta Ana Children’s Home in Vinkovci.
The association’s president, Josip Atalić, emphasized the importance of the Charity Builders’ Gala Evening, noting that it grew from a simple idea: that everyone should contribute as much as they can. He highlighted the value of knowledge and humanity working together in collective action.
Dr. Luka Leško, president of SSBM Geneva, attended the gala, representing the University of Applied Science and Security, part of SSBM Geneva, which also made a generous donation to support the children’s home. This contribution underscored the spirit of international collaboration and solidarity in improving the lives of children in need.
