The SSBM Geneva Immersion Week 2025 officially kicked off today, marking the beginning of an exciting week dedicated to learning, leadership, and cultural discovery.
The day opened with a warm welcome session led by Dr. Mia Simcox, who introduced participants to “The Way of Life in Switzerland.” The engaging session reflected on Swiss values, innovation, and the global mindset that defines Switzerland’s unique place in the world — an inspiring foundation for the week ahead.
We continued with two insightful academic sessions: Digital Innovation and Transformation, led by Dr. Bethania Monteforte, and Applied AI in Business, led by Dr. Olesya Meskina.
Both sessions provided students with practical insights into the transformative power of technology and innovation in today’s business landscape. Through interactive discussions and real-world case studies, participants explored how digital transformation and AI are creating new opportunities for sustainable growth and strategic decision-making. The sessions challenged students to think critically and envision solutions that address complex global challenges, equipping them with tools to become forward-thinking leaders in an ever-evolving world.
In the afternoon, participants had the exceptional opportunity to visit the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva. This immersive experience offered first-hand exposure to international diplomacy, sustainability efforts, and global leadership in action — reinforcing SSBM Geneva’s commitment to connecting academic knowledge with real-world impact.
What a powerful start to the week — combining academic excellence with meaningful global engagement!
