Luka Leško, DBA, President of SSBM Geneva, had the honour of opening a session dedicated to sustainable models for maintaining security while ensuring the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms. During the session, Dr. Leško presented his research on security at the FIFA World Cup held earlier this year, highlighting contemporary approaches to managing large-scale international sporting events and the complex security challenges they present.

The conference also provided an excellent opportunity for networking and exchanging knowledge with academics, educators, and leaders of higher education institutions from around the world. During his visit to Thessaloniki, Dr. Leško also held a meeting with representatives of Mediterranean College of Thessaloniki to discuss potential opportunities for future academic cooperation. Mediterranean College delivers its study programmes in partnership with the University of Derby.
