SSBM Geneva Students Explore the Future of Innovation at the Geneva Inventions Exhibition

NEWS > SSBM Geneva Students Explore the Future of Innovation at the Geneva Inventions Exhibition

At SSBM Geneva, we believe that real-world experiences are key to shaping visionary leaders—and our recent visit to the International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva proved just that.

Accompanied by our esteemed Dean, Dr. med. Amira Simcox, a group of SSBM students had the incredible opportunity to attend this world-renowned event at Palexpo, where the brightest minds in science, technology, and business come together to showcase the future.

The energy at the exhibition was nothing short of inspiring. Known as the most important annual event globally devoted exclusively to inventions, the Geneva Inventions Exhibition is a hub for game-changing ideas and revolutionary technologies—many of which were being unveiled for the first time.

From AI-driven health diagnostics to sustainable energy solutions, our students immersed themselves in innovations that are set to transform industries. They interacted with inventors from over 40 countries, explored prototypes from leading industrial and commercial companies, and gained insights from universities, associations, and research institutions presenting their latest breakthroughs.
Networking opportunities were abundant, offering students the chance to connect with manufacturers, commercial traders, and global investors, and witness

over 1,000 market-ready novelties – some of which could define the next decade of business innovation.

For our students, this visit was more than a learning experience. It was a moment to dream bigger, think bolder, and understand the vital role business professionals play in shaping the future.

We are proud to be part of a city – and an institution – that values curiosity, creativity, and progress. Experiences like these reflect SSBM Geneva’s commitment to providing students with real-world access to global platforms, empowering them to become the leaders, thinkers, and innovators of tomorrow. This event is a testament to Switzerland being the world’s most innovative country for 14 years running.

The future is bright – and our students are ready to lead it.
