Representatives of SSBM Geneva, together with Professor Bethânia and students participating in the joint research collaboration project, attended a high-level visit to the headquarters of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Geneva, in May.
The meeting brought together representatives from the Iranian Red Crescent delegation and members of the IFRC’s National Societies Development department. The visit provided an important platform to present and showcase the ongoing collaboration between SSBM Geneva and the IFRC, highlighting the shared commitment to advancing research, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
The discussions emphasized the value of academic partnerships in supporting humanitarian initiatives and fostering international cooperation. Students involved in the project had the opportunity to engage with experts and gain first-hand insights into the work of one of the world’s leading humanitarian organizations.
