SSBM Geneva is proud to announce that Professor Dario Silić, PhD, participated as an opening speaker at the 4th European GREEN Conference (EGC 2026), held in Vodice, Croatia, from the 26th to 29th of May 2026. The conference gathered researchers, industry experts, policymakers, and sustainability professionals from across Europe to address key environmental and sustainability challenges.
During the opening session, Professor Silić presented his topic, “Sustainable Management and Environmental Protection on the Istrian Y Motorway.” The presentation explored how modern transport infrastructure can balance operational excellence, traffic safety, environmental protection, and long-term sustainability.
Emphasizing the broader responsibility of infrastructure management, Professor Silić highlighted the importance of preserving natural resources, protecting biodiversity, and contributing to the quality of life in local communities while delivering efficient mobility solutions.
