The International Immersion Program 2026, at the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, began its first day with a strong academic and practical focus, combining expert-led sessions with a high-level industry visit and networking opportunities.
The day featured two key sessions led by Dr. Bethania Monteforte. The morning began with Digital Transformation & Innovation Leadership, where participants examined how organizations adapt to technological change and how leaders guide digital-driven transformation.
The program continued with Innovation Culture & High-Performing Teams. This session focused on the dynamics of building collaborative, agile, and creative teams capable of thriving in fast-changing business environments.
In the afternoon, participants visited the International Labour Organization (ILO), guided by Dr. Olesya Meskina, they were introduced to the organization’s history, mission, and global impact.
The session provided insights into the ILO’s international conferences and its core areas of work, including labor standards, employment conditions, and social protection. Participants gained a deeper understanding of how the organization contributes to shaping fair and sustainable labor practices worldwide.
The first day concluded in an informal and engaging atmosphere at Ristorante Molino. Participants gathered for dinner to network, exchange experiences, and strengthen connections within the group, setting a collaborative tone for the remainder of the program.
The opening day successfully combined academic learning with real-world institutional exposure and meaningful networking. The experience at the ILO, together with the interactive sessions at SSBM Geneva, provided participants with a well-rounded introduction to the themes of leadership, innovation, and global labor dynamics.
