SSBM Geneva’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement was recently reflected in a memorable visit to the United States by Professor Dario Silić, PhD, Dino Kolak, Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Miroslav Silić, Head of the IT Department.
The visit was initiated following a significant international recognition awarded to Professor Dario Silić, who received the prestigious Teaching Excellence Award from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). This distinguished award recognizes outstanding dedication to teaching, innovation in higher education, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
Following the award ceremony, the SSBM Geneva team embarked on a journey across three U.S. states, exploring the iconic landscapes and cultural landmarks of the American Southwest. Their itinerary included Los Angeles, California, the vibrant city of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Arizona, where they visited Phoenix, the majestic Grand Canyon, and numerous historic towns and landmarks along the legendary Route 66. More than a road trip, the experience represented an opportunity to strengthen professional relationships and gain fresh perspectives that continue to shape SSBM Geneva’s international vision.
As the FIFA World Cup captivated fans around the globe, Professor Dario Silić, PhD, also had the opportunity to experience the excitement of world-class football firsthand by attending one of the tournament matches, adding another memorable highlight to an already exceptional visit.
